Has your business got the X Factor?
As part of Young Enterprise Day the Institute of Directors is providing a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style opportunity for young entrepreneurs in Birmingham to pitch their business ideas to a group of Birmingham's young directors and gain invaluable feedback. Niki Evans, X-Factor 2007 Finalist, will be there to share her experiences and provide tips on how to reach the top.
Year 8 and Year 11 students at Alice Stevens SEN School in Coventry are currently putting their product design skills to the test as they participate in the ICT related programme Enterprise in Action.
The Pump in East Birmingham was formally a vacant petrol station in Kitts Green and is now a state-of-the-art building, designed by and for young people, which acts as a hub of integrated youth support services with a range of partners, including YEWM; delivering quality, creative and inspiring services for young people.
The latest Young Enterprise programme Your School Your Business was launched last month. YSYB was piloted at Blurton Business & Enterprise College in Stoke on Trent.
As YEWM prepares for the next generation of Company Programme and starts to think about next year’s Trade Fairs and Competition Finals, the question is, who will be the new QWERTY?
